Responsibilities
The Account Manager plays a pivotal role in maintaining and expanding relationships with clients. The Account Manager formulates a sales plan consistent with the development goals and vision of the Branch Director. The Account Manager communicates effectively with the Branch Director and other members of the staff regarding client needs and shares information as appropriate regarding existing and potential clients.
  • Develop and execute written sales plans and goals on a quarterly basis in conjunction with the Branch Director.
  • Performs sales calls to existing clients and prospects on an on-going basis.
  • Grow market share of business with existing clients.
  • Identify new business opportunities and sell appropriately and consistently to obtain business.
  • Sell various/multiple service lines as directed by Branch Director.
  • Complete sales activity reports and provide them to Branch Director on a weekly basis.
  • Participates in orientations as requested.
  • Adhere to company policies and requirements to include application/orientation process.
  • Arrange for off-site recruitment including identification of location, submission of ads, preparation of material needed for applications and orientation.
  • Contact inactive personnel to reactivate as needed.
  • Meet with Branch Director on weekly basis to discuss previous week’s accomplishments and information obtained and review upcoming week’s sales plans.
  • Participate in sales presentations to groups.
  • Participate in appropriate community events.
  • Maintain and update knowledge of industry and community on an on-going basis.
  • Maintain memberships in appropriate associations pertinent to health care industry and attend meetings to promote office service lines and to network with others in the health care field.

Qualifications and Skills
  • Proven experience in account management, sales, or customer success roles.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
  • Excellent problem-solving and negotiation abilities.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.



 

Education/Experience

Education: Associate or Bachelor’s degree in communication, Business Administration, or other related degree.
Experience: Minimum 2 years experience in successful health care sales with successful track record.
