Job Title: CNA/HHA - Personal Care Assistant for 47-Year-Old Quadriplegic

Location: Lehigh Acres 
Schedule: 4 hours on Sat and Sunday/ Days 

Job Summary: Job Overview: We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) to provide personalized care for a 47-year-old individual with quadriplegia and chronic pain syndrome. This role involves assisting with daily living activities, transfers, and mobility support, ensuring comfort and safety. Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide assistance with daily living activities (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.

  • Assist with Hoyer lift transfers, ensuring safe and comfortable mobility.

  • Offer support in managing chronic pain and other health conditions under guidance.

  • Monitor the individual’s health status, including signs of anemia, and report any changes to the family or healthcare team.

  • Provide companionship and emotional support to foster a positive and supportive environment.

  • Maintain a clean and safe living space, including assisting with light housekeeping and meal preparation.

  • Follow care plans and instructions provided by healthcare professionals and family.


Qualifications:

  • Current CNA License or 75 Hour HHA Certificate (from accredited school/institution in FL)
  • High school diploma
  • Current hands on CPR Certification 
  • Appropriate documents required by the state in which you practice in
  • 1+ years of CNA/HHA(HHA  75-hr Certificate must be from an accredited school/institution in Florida) experience in a supervised setting within the past 3 years
  • Proof of negative TB (titer/ chest X-Ray)
