Job Summary:

NurseCore is currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for an immediate wound care case in Arcadia, FL. This is a home care position providing one-on-one skilled nursing focused on wound management. You will play a critical role in helping our client maintain comfort, healing, and dignity within the home setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide specialized wound care, including dressing changes and wound assessments

  • Administer prescribed medications and treatments

  • Monitor and document wound progress and overall patient condition

  • Follow physician orders and agency care plans with accuracy

  • Communicate effectively with supervising clinicians and family members

  • Maintain accurate, timely, and complete clinical documentation

  • Ensure a safe, clean, and comfortable home environment for the patient

Qualifications:

  • Current RN or LPN license in the state of Florida (unencumbered)

  • Recent wound care experience required (1 year preferred)

  • Minimum of one (1) year of nursing experience in a supervised setting within the last three (3) years

  • Current In-Person CPR Certification (online-only CPR not accepted)

  • Negative TB test (current and documented)

  • Clear Level 2 Background Screening with AHCA

  • Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license

  • Strong documentation and communication skills

  • Ability to work independently and follow established care protocols
