As a Home Health Clinical Supervisor Registered Nurse you will work with the Clinical Director and Branch Director to coordinate, plan, provide, and evaluate home care services tailored to patients' individual needs. This position also involves supervising field staff for home care and private duty, as well as supporting the agency’s business development plans.
- Taking, reviewing and converting home care referrals
- Assessing patients, developing plans of care, coordinating services and discharge planning
- Completing client admission and pre-admission visits
- Ensuring compliance with agency’s policies and local, state and federal laws and regulations
- Directing and supervising all client care services
- Completing required paperwork for insurance reimbursement and clinical record documentation
- Serving in a rotating on-call schedule for clinical troubleshooting and support
- Recruiting, interviewing, selecting, orienting, and supervising field staff
- Evaluating and conferring with staff regarding performance
- Representing the agency in the community
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Passion for delivering high-quality, patient-focused care
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Understanding of home health regulations and insurance/reimbursement criteria
- Current RN license in Nevada
- 2+ years of recent RN experience
- 1+ year of Gtube experience (plus traches and/or vents preferred)
- 1+ year in home health care
- 1+ year of supervisory experience
- Bachelor’s degree from a National League of Nursing-accredited college preferred
